Absolute waterfront site for a home to house a prestigious art and car collection

The client’s brief was for a two storey house maximising views to the Georges River with the possibility of a six car basement garage to house the owners collection of prestige cars.

​The owners are well known art gallery owners so the house was designed to exhibit their private art collection against long horizontal walls and two storey volumes.

Natural materials are used throughout, such as sandstone, face concrete, marbles and granites and timber framed windows to achieve a desired look and minimise maintenance issues in the saline environment.
